Local News - Comics, Toys, Statues, and Graphic Novels at Mile High Comics Howdy! Today's newsletter is going to be brief, as we are as busy as can be here at the Mile High Comics Jason St. Mega-Store. I was just down on the main floor, and we must have (easily) 30-40 people in the store right now. In case you are wondering, the biggest attraction for many people visiting the store today is our current awesome selection of comics, toys, statues, and books. Unlike past years, when we purchased lightly for Christmas and ran out of many cool collectibles, we actually stocked up much heavier this year. Check out the photos below to get a small sense of the breadth of what we currently have available. In the end, our being very courageous in stocking for the holidays turned our to be a very good thing for us to have done, as our in-store sales have totally exploded during December. To cite one example, Jason St.'s gross sales as of yesterday were at 164% of last year! Even with all that robust store traffic, however, we still have a fantastic selection available for you. In point of fact, it is really more than that, as our selection on some collectibles is a actually greater today than it was even on December 1st. That's because Will and Pam here at Jason St. have been purchasing a seemingly endless number of great private collections of comics, toys, statues, and books, sometimes as many as ten individual collections a day! This amazing run of treasure-filled collections has been great, but in all honesty, we are having a seriously hard time keeping up! I will close by quickly mentioning that we will be open for our usual Sunday hours on New Year's Eve, and Noon - 5 on Monday, New Year's Day.
