New Mile High Comics Variant Editions Howdy! A brief newsletter this morning, as I am going to meet Jim Scharper at the Food Bank of the Rockies. We are going to again be providing meals to the homeless this Thursday, but the weather here in Colorado is supposed to turn extremely cold tomorrow and Wednesday, so we are picking up our discounted pallets of food before the storm arrives. We have a warm spot on the Mile High Comics loading dock to store the pallets, so picking them up today makes good sense. As regards to life here at Mile High Comics, I want you to know that I definitely need to end our current 30% off NANETTE3 codeword on Wednesday, at noon. My decision is based upon the fact that we have had such a positive response to this codeword that we are projecting that it will take us upwards of ten days to pull and ship orders received today. I extend my personal thanks to everyone who has participated in this sale, as you have done much to put Nanette's mind at ease. She is still quite nervous about tomorrow's hip-replacement surgery, but at least she has the peace of mind of knowing that we will have plenty of orders to fill while she is in the hospital. My only other bit of news for today is that my good friend, Bob Conway, works at the printer that recently published THUNDER MONKEY: THE YOUNG YEARS #1 for local Colorado artist, Lee Oaks! Bob suggested to me that we publish a Mile High Comics variant edition of this charming all-ages title as a benefit for "Feeding Denver's Hungry."
