A quiet week here at Mile High Comics, with most of our efforts directed toward sorting and grading the huge number of collections that Pam has been receiving through our online buying program. I have personally sorted over 10,000 Marvel comics at this point, with another 5,000 excellent Marvels sitting on the sorting tables waiting to be finished. With any luck, I should be able to get that batch done by the end of the week, and then I can finally take the lids off the 12,000-book collection that Pam purchased on Monday. That one huge collection contains single copies of almost every comic book published since 1985 (!), including all of the Marvel and DC titles, as well as some exceptionally rare comics from Independent publishers. If you have any scarce issues that you are seeking from Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image, or Independent publishers, please be sure and update your personal Want List over the next couple of days. The number of high grade, rare comics that are being entered into our inventory right now is simply exceptional...

Speaking of exceptional comics, have you checked out today's New-In-Stock and/or our $50+ New-In-Stock listings? Pam has already entered the beginnings of another great Silver Age Marvel collection that she has purchased, including early issues of SPIDER-MAN (1963), AVENGERS (1963), and X-MEN (1963). Pam also purchased groupings of TALES OF SUSPENSE, FANTASTIC FOUR, DOCTOR STRANGE (1968), and several other key Silver Age Marvel titles from the same seller. Pam is buying comics by the truckload right now, so we're really being able to expand our listings of older comics for you on a daily basis.

In the meantime, I've been finding, quite literally, thousands of scarce Marvel back issues in the long boxes that I have been sorting, including hundreds individual comics where we previously had sold out. What makes these great discoveries especially nice for you is that they have allowed me to put a great many more of our Marvel comics on steep discount sale, with a surprising number of our Marvels now priced for you in the 75%-85% off range. Whether I will be able to keep up these discounts is purely dependent on whether, or not, I keep finding replacements for all of the cool comics that we are selling right now. For the time being, however, I seem to be keeping slightly ahead of the demand, so I feel OK with returning to offering you steep discounts on all of our Marvel comics, as well as quite a few back issues from other publishers. Please enjoy these great deals with my personal thanks for your ongoing support of Mile High Comics!

1976 SPIDER-MAN
VS. THE PRODIGY

My only other topic for today is a quick mention that we are nearly out of the free copies of the 1976 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN VS. THE PRODIGY issues that I offered you in Monday's newsletter. Blessedly, they are very thin, so even after the first 75 copies were given away (which is how many I had estimated that I found in that 'lost" box), we still had a few left in stock. Most of the remaining copies are in Fine- Very Fine condition, and can still be obtained completely for free simply by placing a $20 order with us, and then asking for a FREE SPIDER-MAN COMIC in the "notes" section of our order form. I am presuming that we will run out of these scarce give away comics today, however, so please provide us with an alternate choice. The two other books that I am giving away for the next two days are the FATHOM trade paperback, and the GROO ADVENTURER trade paperback. Any $20 order will allow you to pick one of these two great books absolutely for free. Because we have such limited supplies remaining on all of these two free books and the SPIDER-MAN give away comic, however, there is a limit of one free gift per order. Also, this free gift offer will need to end on Friday, at noon. In the meantime, however, just place any $20+ order with us, and you can pick one of the three items that I just mentioned, absolutely for free!

Happy Collecting!
