While cleaning up under some shelving yesterday I discovered a dust-covered box containing a small quantity of a 1978 CASPER THE FREINDLY GHOST UNICEF giveaway. I am assuming this small grouping of VF/NM copies of this very scarce giveaway came from the legendary Harvey Comics warehouse, which I purchased portions of about 20 years ago. Whatever the case may be, this CASPER giveaway is so scarce that there is no listing for it in the newest OVERSTREET COMIC BOOK PRICE GUIDE, of which I am proud to be an advisor. That is not unusual, however, as giveaways are among the rarest of comics, and the huge task of documenting their existence has just begun.
