Free DEADPOOL Variant - Plus STAR WARS and BETTY PAGE Offers

Howdy!

The trailer for the new DEADPOOL movie was screened for the first time at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. It immediately was copied and posted online, to rave reviews. Ever since, we have seen an unprecedented level of demand for anything related to DEADPOOL, but most especially scarcer DEADPOOL comics. By the time that the film is released next February, I fully expect that we will sell out of every DEADPOOL comic book that we currently have in stock.

DEADPOOL VS. THANOS #1 Retailer Summit

The reason that I am mentioning this growing mania for DEADPOOL comics is that our head new comics buyer, Will Moulton, managed to obtain for us a small supply of the extremely limited DEADPOOL VS. THANOS #1 Retailer Summit special editions. If you would like to receive a copy of this rare DEADPOOL variant from us completely for free, all you need to do is to place any minimum $50 order (after all discounts) with us over the weekend. You can then request your free copy of DEADPOOL VS. THANOS #1 in the "notes" section of our online order form. One request per client, please.

On a related note, over the past two years, we have also published three exclusive Mile High Comics DEADPOOL variant editions. Each was limited to only 3,000 copies in their original print run, and most of those copies sold long ago. With demand for all DEADPOOL comics now booming, however, we are seeing our remaining stocks on our DEADPOOL variants declining rapidly. That having been said, I want to provide everyone with fair warning that this weekend will be your last chance to pick up copies of our DEADPOOL variants at our current list prices. Next week, they will need to rise by $10 each.

Here are the three Mile High Comics DEADPOOL variants, with current prices:

DEADPOOL #30 $24.95

DEADPOOL ANNUAL #1 $29.95

DEADPOOL KILLS DEADPOOL #1 $29.95

Aside from publishing our own DEADPOOL variant editions, we are also members of the PHANTOM GROUP, a small consortium of comics retailers who have banded together to publish variants under the PHANTOM GROUP label. Our group printed the following two DEADPOOL variants:

DEADPOOL (2012) #1 PHANTOM $49.95

#45 #250 PHANTOM $39.95

Our remaining supplies on both of these PHANTOM GROUP variants are even more limited than our own variants, but we do have slightly more copies left of the DEADPOOL #1 PHANTOM GROUP edition. That being the case, I am going to offer you an exceptionally generous DEADPOOL combo deal. If you would like to pick up a set of our three exclusive Mile High Comics DEADPOOL variants, plus the DEADPOOL PHANTOM GROUP #1, we will let you have a set of all four for only $99.95. That is a savings to you of $34.85! Offer ends Monday.

In other news, our offer on the ultra-rare 1985 STAR WARS checklist poster (featuring images of every STAR WARS movie poster ever released) will also need to end on Monday. We have copies left at $99.95, but I would just as soon hold on to them if they don't sell over the weekend. The new STAR WARS movie trailer was released today, and we are seeing even more excitement building for the December 18th premiere. My prediction is that STAR WARS is going to take over the world in the 4th quarter...

On another topic, if you were thinking about purchasing the copy of the SEDUCTION OF THE INNOCENT hardcover that I offered from my own collection on Thursday, you're too late. It sold in under four hours. The item from my collection that I'm offering today will probably last even less time, as it is a very cool pastel painting by Howard Chaykin. I believe that it was painted for one of Howard's very first fanzine appearances, right around 1973. I like it very much, so if no one is willing to pay my $600 asking price, I will return it to my comics vault, with a sigh of relief.

HOWARD CHAYKIN PAINTING

My most eclectic offer for you today is a very scarce boxed set of Betty Page screen printed postcards that were published by a tiny Los Angeles company named Rigomore Press, in 1991. There are 18 cards to a set, and they were printed utilizing a very striking silkscreen process in black, gold leaf, and flesh tone on a pastel blue background. While these were marketed as postcards, they are actually art cards, printed on very heavy stock with blank backs. I have just a couple of sets for sale at $29.95 each, each in its original presentation box.

I will close today's newsletter with a quick reminder that you can save a full 30% off of most of the back issue comics and magazines that you order from us right now if you utilize our ongoing AWESOME! codeword sale. Just type AWESOME! into the codeword line on our online order form, and our computer will automatically deduct a full 30% from your cost of all qualifying items. New comics, books, CGC's, and a few of our variants are not a part of the sale, but all ten million of our back issue comics and magazines DO qualify for the 30% off codeword discount.

Happy Collecting!
