Comics Trade Paperbacks and Hardbacks Sale

Howdy!

I am in Allentown, Pennsylvania this morning, on the second day of a week-long quest to find old comics. Yesterday was a great start to my journey, as I purchased approximately 18,000 back issues in three different deals. Almost all of these comics are in NM condition, already bagged and boarded, and pretty much in order. Better yet, these collections consist of popular titles (including 1976-1983 Bronze Age issues) published by Marvel, DC, Image, Dynamite, Dark Horse, IDW, Boom!, and many more. In all honesty, I could not have asked for better results from my first day on the East Coast...

What makes me particularly happy about my first acquisitions is that they will easily integrate into our newly constructed Jason St. back issue comics inventory. To explain, we have spent the past month rearranging our back issue comics array at Jason St. Our back issue comics inventory is now being filed alphabetically by title (only), rather than our previous method of first separating by publisher.

In case you are wondering, our new filing system allows back issue titles that have been released by multiple publishers (such as Conan and GI Joe) to appear together for the first time. We have about 100,000 comics now filed in our revised comics inventory system, and the initial responses that we have received are all positive. We have also been receiving rave reviews on our drastically reduced back issue prices, with our sales of older comics having tripled during the past four weeks. If you have not recently visits our Jason St. Mega-Store, I highly encourage you to do so soon. We already have over 100,000 back issues filed into this brand new inventory...

On a related topic, I also want to mention that we just purchased over 2,000 trade paperbacks and hardbacks from Marvel Comics. We distributed these brand new comics book collections through all four of our Mile High Comics retail stores, but since Jason St. has the most display space, it received a disproportionately large number of these books. Marvel did provide us with some special incentives to buy these books, so I am going to pass along those saving by offering you a special book sale over this weekend of buy two, get one (of same lesser value) free. Please do enjoy this weekend book sale!

I will now have to cut today's news short, as I need to drive to a comics shop 60 miles away to sort through a basement filled with 50,000 more back issue comics. Wish me luck!

Happy Collecting!
