Free Spider-Man Variant and Captain America Poster Book ! Howdy! I hope that all is well with you today, and that you are being able to spend at least a little time enjoying your comics. With my now being home here in Colorado considerably more than in the past, I am finally being able to sort and read a few more of the comics in my own collection, which is bringing me considerable happiness and contentment. I genuinely like going on the road for extended periods to purchase wholesale lots of old comics for Mile High, but it is also really nice to just be able to enjoy my own comics, too... While I am working on projects here in Colorado, my East Coast assistant, Ashley Imbese, has been out buying comics for the company on her own. Ashley just finished closing two deals for us in Delaware and Maryland, totaling more than 14,000 choice back issues. Ashley hand-selected these comics from much larger accumulations, utilizing an inventory book that we printed for her specifically so she would know exactly which scarce comics that we needed for her to buy for us. Those 14,000 comics that Ashley purchased will be stored in our corner at the Hot Flips Comics Supplies warehouse for the next few weeks, until my next buying trip to New York. While Ashley is buying for us on the East Coast, Pam is continuing to buy lots of collections for us via our online buying list, and is also having a slew of collections walk in the door of our 56th Ave. warehouse. Her inventory team is working extremely efficiently to sort and grade her new acquisitions, as well as well as working through a few of the many long boxes filled with great comics that I shipped back from my earlier buying trips. We added 22,206 (!) more back issue comics into our New-In-Stock and Premium New-In-Stock listings just over the past five days, which is greatly expanding the overall comics and book selection that we can offer you on our website... It is precisely because we have added so many comics into inventory over the past couple of weeks, that I have asked Lynne to send out a combined Want List mailing on this Saturday. As those of you who already have a Want List on file with us are probably already aware, we send you free e-mail notifications whenever any comic, magazine, or book on your list arrives into our inventory. It is often true, however, that we send out multiple single item notifications to you over an extended period. There may be, for example, six or eight items in our inventory right now that you are seeking, but each item came in separately, so no one combined e-mail was ever sent to you. We remedy this omission about every six weeks, when we send out a single e-mail to all participants in our Want List program who have at least one item presently in stock. Keep an eye out on Saturday to see if you get an e-mail from us, as it may contain an entire listing of issues that we have in stock for you right now. Also, if you have the time, please update your Want List. The more items that you select for inclusion in your Want List, the better that we can help you with building your collection. Moving on to a couple of cool giveaways, imagine my surprise last month when I discovered that Larry Comics of Lowell, MA, still had a few copies left of their very limited edition printing of SPIDER-MAN #666 LARRYS VARIANT. We gave away almost all of our copies of our own edition of that rare comic long ago, so I was delighted when Larry offered to share a few of his remaining copies with us. Rather than sell most of them, however, I am going to offer those of you who collect rare Marvel variant editions the chance to obtain this Larry's Comics edition of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #666 for free, simply by placing a minimum $50 order with us, and then asking for the Larry's variant in the "notes" section of our online order form. We do also have a small handful of our own Mile High Comics AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #666 MILE HIGH VARIANT edition left, but at this point we will need to request a minimum $100 order for you to be able to qualify for one of those last few copies of our edition.
