Nausea, headache, and wracking coughs. Not fun. Fifteen hours of sleep really helped, however, so I am on the mend today. While I am not at the office today, I have been handling a barrage of texts and e-mails this morning about our impending sale of our 56th Ave. building. That sale is drawing ever closer to finality, with just one issue remaining to be resolved by tomorrow's contract deadline. While I remain optimistic about our current deal going through, I felt much reassured when our realtor told me that he has two more buyers waiting in the wings, both willing to pay our full asking price. The one bit of cloudiness in our future is that the dealer who is funding our moving costs (by purchasing eight pallets of our overstock...) let me know this morning that his next payment would be a week later than I had been led to believe. That's not good news, as I have already been laying out considerable sums for extra manpower and trucks to assist with moving the six million comics and magazines stored in 56th over to Jason St. I know that this will all resolve itself in the end, but for the time being it is going to make things just a little more squeaky.
