Free Jim Lee Harley Quinn Variants - New Codeword Sale

Howdy!

Now that the holidays are behind us, we're working hard to catch up here at Mile High Comics. As I mentioned in my past couple of newsletters, we received orders for far more comics than we could fill during late December, so we are working down a two-week backlog. If you have an order waiting in that pipeline, please be patient. We have shifted almost everyone in our company over to helping get your order out to you as quickly as possible.

The positive aspect of our order backlog is that it is helping us to raise the working capital that we will need to combine our 56th Ave. and Jason St. inventories. That immense move of our six million comics stored in 56th Ave., plus all of our offices, is scheduled for completion by the end of March. That presumes that our 56th Ave. building will sell by that point, but I learned from our Realtor just this morning that we now have three different groups now bidding against each other for the right to purchase our building, so that timing now seems much more likely. Suffice it to say, I am really stressing at the thought of all the complicated logistics involved with moving so many comics...

In addition to the MILEHIGH2 codeword applying a 40% off discount to most of our back issue comics and magazines, I have also asked Will Moulton to maintain 40%-50% off discounts for you on all of our graphic novels, trade paperbacks, and comics hardcover collections. Those book discounts do not require a codeword, however, as they are listed for you right on our website. The MILEHIGH2 codeword applies to all of our ten million comics and magazines, excepting only new comics, a few variants, and our CGC's.

In case you are wondering, reducing the number of comics that we have to pack up and move over the next eight weeks is the primary reason why I initiated our new MILEHIGH2 codeword sale on all of our back issue comics and magazines. While it does not at all enthuse me to let tens of thousands of our comics sell for so little (many for under $1 each after the codeword...), I truly have no choice but to be pragmatic. In simplest terms, every single comic book that we ship out to you in an order right now is one that we do not have to pack up and move in March. The MILEHIGH2 codeword will really help us both in that regard, so I am going to let it stay in effect for you, even though we already have a plethora of orders to fill. As long as you can afford to be patient in waiting for your order to arrive, the MILEHIGH2 codeword is a win-win for us both.

I will close today's newsletter with a special giveaway offer. Our head new comics buyer, Will Moulton, made the excellent decision last month to order extra copies of JUSTICE LEAGUE #47, which features three different Harley Quinn covers by Jim Lee! Thanks to Will's excellent judgement, I can offer you free copies today of the Jim Lee pencil cover variant, the Jim Lee inked variant, and the Jim Lee full color variant. Your choice of the three covers is free if you place any minimum $30 order with us, or you can request a free set of all three Jim Lee covers after placing a minimum $75 order. Just let us know which free items you prefer in the "notes" portion of our online order form.
