MONSTERS FROM THE VAULT #25 (NOTE PRICE) (C: 0-1-2)
The 25th issue of Monsters from the Vault features Daniel Horne's beautiful Werewolf of London painting on the cover. The issue opens with Cortlandt Hull discussing his uncle's role in Werewolf of London and as Edgar Allan Poe on stage. Next up, longtime contributor Greg Mank looks at the production of Val Lewton's 1944 film, The Curse of the Cat People. First-time contributor Mark Berry interviews David Hedison about working with Irwin Allen on his 1960 film, The Lost World. Finally, Gary Rhodes examines Bela Lugosi's unmade sequel to Dracula, and John Clymer discusses the recently published revised edition of Universal Horrors: The Studio's Classic Films, 1931-1946 with authors John Brunas, Michael Brunas, and Tom Weaver. In addition, editorial comments, letters to the editor, DVD/CD/book reviews, and a few surprises await you in this issue. Each article contains tons of rare photos, all beautifully reproduced.
