Angel: After the Fall (2007) #19
Story by Kelley Armstrong and art by Dave Ross. Our story begins as Angel wakes up from a deep sleep to find a totally hot, naked young woman in his bedroom. Horrifying, right? Well, actually when the woman is actually a were-tiger and is apparently there to try to kill him, that's where all the aforementioned horror comes in. After battling her to a standstill, Angel discovers the cat-woman is really trying to offer him a deal: if Angel helps her eliminate her employer, whom she owes money, she'll help him stop the assassination attempts.
You see, ever since Angel drove Wolfram & Hart out of L.A., the city has fallen back into the hands of the demon lords who thrive in its seedy underbelly. The were-tiger has one of those demon lords in her sights and wants Angel's help to take him out. But first she has to win the trust of Connor, Kate and Gwen, the electro-girl who is dealing with some trust issues of her own stemming from her recent betrayal of Angel and company in favor of Gunn (who happened to be a vampire at the time). Nothing is easy!
