WHERE MONSTERS DWELL (1970) (#1-38) #33 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Where Monsters Dwell #33
Check out the colossal cover art by Gil Kane and Al Milgrom! This anthology features three stories from Marvel's horror books of the '50s and one newer tale from writer Gerry Conway and Golden Age artist Syd Shores. "In the Shadow of Tragg" takes the classic big-monster storyline and introduces an intrepid reporter who details the terrible events in first-person style (ala TV's "The Night Stalker"). Beneath the city streets lies the terror of Tragg, a monster bent on striking back at mankind for their underground nuclear tests!

Also, "Backstage Madness" is a gothic tale of artistic rivalry between two actors one of whom takes his role a murderous monster a little too seriously. It features art by the talented Ogden Whitney. "The Man Who Meddled" is a classic cautionary tale of the dangers of scientific inquiry. When an ambitious young scientist seeks to speed up the process of aging, he affects his own child with disastrous results. Finally, in the "Forbidden Forest," two hunters in a sporting trip to Belgium encounter a monstrous beast and a legendary hunter in an adventure that could cost them their lives and their sanity.
