STRANGE ADVENTURES (1950) (#1-244) (DC) #231 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Strange Adventures (1950) #231
A 64-page gigantic collection of DC's finest sci fi classics. Think of the flying monkeys from The Wizard of Oz except on King Kong-sized steroids and you can begin to imagine the menace of the "Attack of the Flying Gorillas!" (story by Gardner Fox with art by Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson, originally published in Strange Adventures #125). Then, the Atomic Knights must come to terms with juvenile delinquency in the atom age when they cry "Here Come the Wild Ones!" (story by John Broome, art by Anderson, from Strange Adventures #160).

Next, an extraterrestrial observer tries to prove that humanity no longer needs any one else's help to realize its fantastic potential by becoming "The Martian Masquerader!" (story by Broome, with art by Gil Kane and Joe Giella, from Strange Adventures #67). And, a time-traveling history teacher becomes the savior of mankind by completing an "Assignment in Eternity!" (story by Otto Binder, art by Sid Greene and Giella, from Strange Adventures #83). Finally, Adam Strange finds himself body-swapped with a dangerous intergalactic criminal when he faces "The Challenge of the Crystal Conquerors!" (Story by Fox, art by Infantino and Giella, from Strange Adventures #71).
