|Plot Synopsis: Starslayer #10|
First appearance of Tim Truman's Grimjack! "Bounty" is written by John Ostrander and drawn by Lenin Delsol and Mike Gustovich. Corindubar is a planet where a spaceship crew can find replacement parts for a cracked infinity unit and that's just the business that brings the crew of the Jolly Roger for a visit. Torin MacQuillon and the dark-tressed and leggy Tamara have a bounty on their heads, imposed by Director Bragg. In the back alleys, long knives wait for the star-spanning pair. But the clumsy attack is easily pushed back. The straggling survivors must tell Black Thom McKuen that they've failed in their task. An immortal, cursed by the gods, Black Thom is more of a threat to Torin, Tamara and Sam, Torin's robotic monkey. While Torin returns to the Jolly Roger to make ready for the new infinity unit, Tamara unfortunately becomes kidnaped by Black Thom.
With Tamara trussed up with high voltage trapped wire, Black Thom presents Torin with a dangerous dilemma. Sensing a trap, Torin approaches Ludwig's warehouse, drawn there by a hastily written note he finds at the scene of Tamara's kidnaping. But it's not Torin who trips Black Thom's electric trap; it's his poor unfortunate robot monkey Sam who is laid low. In a rage, Torin takes the fight to Black Thom, casting him into the fire ignited by their battle. Meanwhile, aboard the Raptor, Bragg has his own worries with a trio of conspirators (Madame Zolata, Dyah and P'eng Shou) making designs on his life. Also, in "Mortal Gods" written by Ostrander and drawn by Truman, meet John Gaunt, Grimjack, a hard-drinking, hard-fighting inhabitant of the dimension-spanning city of Cynosure. He's in search of a lost god and he finds him at the bottom of a bottle. Will Grimjack be able to convince the deity to sober up long enough to save his worshipers?
