OUR FIGHTING FORCES (1954) #141 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Our Fighting Forces (1954) #141
Cover by Joe Kubert. "The Bad Penny" is drawn by John Severin. The Losers are mourning the loss of one of their own. Captain Storm, blown up while on a mission in Nazi-occupied Norway, is gone but young Ona keeps his dog-tag as a memento. After a Blitz attack on London, Ona makes up her mind to return to her homeland to free her village from her uncle, a German-sympathizing Mayor.

The Losers follow the lovely liberator and discover the town is the target of modern-day pirates, led by a one-legged, one-eyed man they recognize as the amnesiac Captain Storm! Ona's dog-tag awakens Storm's memories and the team is back together once again. Also, submarine sailor Buck Taylor sees the famous battle of the ironclads Monitor and the Merrimac as if it were happening right in front of him! Also, don't miss "American Military Ornaments," "Hysterical Facts" and "Battle Album."
