MARVEL TEAM-UP (1972) (#1-150) (MARVEL) #131 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Marvel Team-Up (1972) #131
First appearance of the White Rabbit. "The Best Things in Life Are Free...But Everything Else Costs Money!" is written by J.M. DeMatteis and drawn by Kerry Gammill and Mike Esposito. Profile of a criminal lunatic: Rich and bored pretty young widow dons a rabbit suit straight out of Alice in Wonderland to rob fast food joints and antique book stores to satisfy her dual needs of rebelling against her silver spoon upbringing and reveling in her love of literature. It's clear that the self-styled White Rabbit has got some issues that need resolving.

Enter your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man who specializes in therapeutic butt-kicking when the situation calls for it. And also enter, Gene Patilio, a.k.a. Frog-Man, who is looking to make a name for himself as a costumed crime-fighter in order to make up for the brief (and embarrassing) criminal career of his father, the Leap-Frog. But instead of helping Spidey, Frog-Man tends to get in the way. And when the elder Patilio shows up as one of the White Rabbit's new henchmen, Gene's loyalties are torn!
