FANTASTIC FOUR: WORLD'S GREATEST COMIC MAGAZINE (2000) #8 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Fantastic Four: The World's Greatest Comics Magazine #8
Doctor Doom's mastery of the Cosmic Cube and many of the other great ultra-powerful devices of the Marvel Universe seems to have the FF at bay. Legions of undersea monsters assault the Big Apple at his command. The noble Sub-Mariner has bent to his will. And now the Latverian tyrant threatens to enter the Negative Zone itself in search of his next prize. This one has more guest stars than you can shake a stick at: the Black Panther, the Avengers, the Watcher and the Inhumans. Don't miss the earth-shaking battle between Iron Man and Namor, Captain America's last stand and the Thing armed with the Star-Spangled Avenger's mighty shield.

Marvel's homage to the halcyon days of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby continues with this issue. Co-plotters Eric Stephenson and Erik Larsen pull out all of the stops and unload non-stop action. Kurt Busiek's script accurately reflects the syntax and idioms of the day. Artists Ron Frenz, Bruce Timm, Jorge Pereira Lucas, Al Milgrom, Bill Wray, Rick Veitch and Terry Beatty line up their best imitation of King Kirby's pencils.
