50% Off Sale Extended + Happy Birthday Stan Lee!
Howdy!
I am feeling more than a little bit overwhelmed this morning, as we received
an absolute deluge of
back issue comics
and
book
orders via our
website over
this past weekend. I sincerely thank everyone who ordered from, as the sum of
the orders that we received will help us greatly to fund our upcoming consolidation
of our two facilities. I could not have asked for a nicer Christmas present!
For those of you who have not yet taken advantage of one of our year-end sales,
I am reactivating our 50% off HOLIDAY! codeword sale on all
back issue comics and magazines for you for the next seven
days.
Excluding only new comics, a few variants,
and our CGC-graded editions.
I am also returning all 250,000 of our backlist
graphic novels and trade paperbacks
to 50% off, and all of our
comics hardback collections
to 40% off. These are discounted right on the
website, so no codeword needed for these discounts.
Please do take
into account that, even shifting all of our inventory team members over to help with
filling orders, we now have a three week! shipping backlog. I apologize in advance for
this inordinate shipping delay, but our holiday sales have simply proven to be far
more popular than we ever anticipated.
In other news, we will be hosting a very large end-of-the year
comics, toy, and collectibles auction
at our
Jason St. Mega-Store
on this upcoming Saturday morning, at 11:30 AM.
This auction will feature our usual mix of older comics, toys, statues, prints,
portfolios, and original art, all being sold without reserve. In addition, I am
on a quest to clear out thousands of cool items that have somehow ended up in odd
corners of our 56th Ave. headquarters building during the 29 years we have occupied
that facility. Any items I find will be added to this Saturday's auction, with no
reserves. If you are anywhere near Denver this Saturday, you should stop on by!
I will close today's newsletter with sincere 93rd Birthday greetings for Marvel
Comics founder, Stan Lee. Our paths have crossed numerous times during my 46 years
in the comics business, and my admiration for Stan has never waned. His infectious
enthusiasm is amazing!

Happy Collecting!
