50% Off Comics And Books Sale - New STAR WARS Variants Howdy! I want to start off today by clarifying a couple of misconceptions that have been mentioned to me several times over this past weekend. First our incredibly generous 50% off MOVINGDAY! codeword sale on all of our back issue comics and magazines is not ending today. It may end at the end of this week, but for at least the next couple of days it remains in effect for you. All of our trade paperbacks and graphic novels also remain on sale for you at 60% off, and all of our comics hardback collections are still priced for you (right on our website) at half price. All told, this is the most generous sale in our history! The second misconception is that we are closing our beautiful Jason St. Mega-Store. Nothing could be further from the truth. We are actually selling our much smaller 56th Ave. headquarters building, and then merging our online operations (which are currently housed in 56th) into Jason St. The profit from the sale of our headquarters building will wipe out most of our company borrowings, while merging online into Jason St. will also slash our monthly operating costs by over $10,000. Moving six million comics from 56th into Jason will be a pain in the tush, but in general we are all very pleased. All of the above having been said, the combination of our 50% off MOVINGDAY! codeword sale, and the steep discounts book sales, caused the busiest weekend of traffic on our website in over two years. While I am leaving all of our sales in effect for you, I do want to let you know that our order pipeline is now overflowing, so our staff will need about a week longer than usual to ship your orders. As long as you are willing to be patient in waiting for your order to arrive, however, you still have plenty of time to take advantage of our great bargain sales.
