In other news, Pam has been diligently working each day adding nice
back issues
into
our online inventory
for you to peruse. As a direct result, our
Premium New-In-Stock
link has been nicely filled with a delightfully broad spectrum of new issues and also
older ones. She will continue to add more all of this week, as she has an enormous
backlog of great comics waiting to be graded and entered. I honestly cannot remember
a time when we have been able to purchase so many nice collections. That's fine by me...

While Pam, and Will, and Lisa, and Trish, and Gordon all continue to add great items into
our website listings,
I will be leaving at the crack-of-dawn on Thursday morning for Washington, D.C., where I
will be a participant in the National Transgender March on Washington. Marching may not
accomplish anything, but my heart is telling me that I simply have to go, so I will.

All other considerations aside, I will do my best during my journey to bring attention to
the unbelievable discrimination and hardships faced by my Transgender sisters, and most
especially my Transgender sisters of color. Yet another of my sisters was shot in Dallas
over this past weekend, this time by a man who screamed transphobic slurs from a neighboring
car, before opening fire on the unarmed trans girl.
Sadly, even if that vicious person is ultimately apprehended, they cannot be charged with a
local hate crime because the State of Texas does not acknowledge that violence and/or murder
of someone solely because of their gender expression is hate. Think about how horrible it
would be if your own state government refused to provide you with legal protections. Transgender
people do not want any special rights, just the right to live in peace, just like everyone
else already can. That is one reason why I will march in the streets of Washington, D.C. on
Saturday.
After marching, I will immediately take an Uber to Dulles Airport, and fly back to Denver. I
need to be here on Sunday because I will be hosting our 7th monthly family-friendly All-Ages Drag
Show starting at 6 PM on that evening. So you know, we had approximately 35 alt-right and
religious protestors at our show last month, including a contingent of pseudo "Proud Boys"
with black uniforms and battle shields.

Facing down those remarkably nasty people in a ball gown and sparkly high heels isn't exactly
the easiest thing for me to do, but I feel that I have to show the 400+ attendees and the kids
who perform at our show that someone in their Community cares enough to take whatever risks are
necessary to insure their right to self-expression. Love is love.

I will close by mentioning that I am going to use my time on the plane to and from Dulles to
begin the incredibly arduous task of repricing
our entire website.
This means establishing new
prices for every single
comic book, magazine,
graphic novel, trade paperback, and comics hardback
in
our entire database.
This will be at least a 3-year job, so don't expect to see many changes anytime soon, but do be
aware that we are finally (finally!) going to be updating some of our (very old) pricing. 'Nuff said...
