I had heard from more than a few of my fellow comics dealers that original comics art was highly popular with fans these days, but I took those observations with a grain of salt. Now, however, after having sold 30 SUPERMAN pages in just three days, I am totally convinced. The original comics art market is definitely very strong right now! What I can do, however, is to continue to unearth small groups of particularly nice pieces. I'll begin today with a small Frank Frazetta lithograph that came from the estate of Middle Earth Publishing co-founder, Steve Allen. Steve was friends with Frazetta, and I think that he may have been the one who published this small litho during the heyday of Middle Earth. FRANK FRAZETTA LITHO (1975) I obtained a small sleeve of these Frank Frazetta lithos when I purchased Steve's estate. I kept them safe for many years, with today being the first time that I am offering them for sale. JIM STERANKO TALON POSTER (FOLDED) My final item for today is a one-of-a-kind poster of TALON by the legendary Jim Steranko. This very rare poster originally came folded, I believe from Steranko's own SuperGraphics company. It was published sometime during the late 1970's, or very early 1980's. If you are a hard core Steranko fan, you need this in your collection! While it was originally folded, it is now preserved in archival Mylar, and will come rolled in a heavy duty tube.
