Free 2012 Zenescope Variant Comic Annual Howdy! Jason Street Mega Store After a grueling 1,100 mile drive from San Diego, I am finally back in my office at our wonderful Jason St. Mega-Store. The first thought that hit me when I walked through the door into my beloved new 65,000 square foot building was just how much our talented and dedicated staff has accomplished since we first purchased Jason St., just 50 weeks ago. After unloading the 60 semi-trailers that it took to move us, our team had to reassemble all of the shelving for our entire back stock of 250,000 trade paperbacks and hardbacks, as well as the racking that holds our two million unsorted back issue comics and magazines at we keep in our reserve files. Our Jason St. staff then worked all through the winter, gradually building the framework for the largest comics store in the world. Our 35,000 square foot Jason St. Mega-Store store is now up and running, drawing rave reviews from all who visit our incredible new Mecca for serious comics collectors. So what lies ahead? An incredible quantity of additional work. While Jason St. is already the coolest comics shop in the world, I see so much more that can be done to make it even better. As a case in point, we are going to be spending next week integrating two huge private collections of rare comics (that we just purchased) in with the 100,000+ back issues that we already have available for sale in the Mega-Store. I will be open on Saturday from 10 AM - 5 PM, and Sunday from 12 Noon - 5 PM. Everyone is welcome to come by during those hours to shop, or to just chat with me about comics. We're located at 4600 Jason, just two blocks south of the I-70/Pecos St. exit. While I will be running Jason St. on a very relaxed and informal basis tomorrow, we will be having huge post-San Diego sale at the store on Saturday, July 28th, from 10 AM - 3 PM. All of our back issue comics and magazines in the Mega-Store will be half price that day (except for CGC-graded issues), and we will have a sliding scale of book discounts on all of our trade paperbacks and hardbacks, with book discounts ranging up to 50% off.
