Free San Diego Comic-Con Marvel Variant Editions Howdy! We have returned to Denver from this year's San Diego Comic-Con, and are starting to get back into the swing of things here at home. For starters, those of you who shop with us at our Jason St. Mega-Store in Denver will want to try to stop by the store as soon as you can, as our entire San Diego inventory of 90,000+ comics is now on sale in the store. While some of these San Diego comics are already represented in our immense "Ocean of Comics," many thousands are not, as they were acquired just before our booth left for the show. Ocean of Comics at our Jason St. Mega-Store As regards a finally summary for our exhibiting in San Diego, the show was a success for us, with sales up 21%. As a result, we turned our small loss at last year's show, into a moderate profit this year. The keys to our success were A) the immense selection of 94,000 comics we offered in our 47 bins, and B) our wonderful selection of STAR WARS variants. To give you an idea of just how popular STAR WARS proved to be, my best estimate is that they constituted a full 30% (!) of our entire booth sales this year. If you have not yet secured copies of all of the new Marvel STAR WARS comics, I highly encourage you to do so immediately. All of the STAR WARS titles are proving to be incredibly popular back issues... Civil War (2015) #1 SDCC Secret Wars #4 SDCC I now have a very special offer for those of you who could not attend this San Diego convention. Each year there are special variant comics produced which are available only via the retailers who exhibit at the convention. We sell those comics to fans who attend the show, but are also allowed to sell our remaining stock on the open market, once the show ends. That having been said, what I would like to do for you today is to offer you your choice of the SECRET WARS #4 Marvel Mini-Mate variant or the CIVIL WAR #1 Marvel Mini-Mate variant as a free (!)
