Illustrating space scenes with black backgrounds is always difficult, but we felt that having our next six issues combine into one massive attack on the Death Star was such a cool concept, that we were willing to take the risk. As things turned out, we needn't have worried. The added reds and browns in this beautiful cover painted exactly the kind of muted contrast we had hoped to achieve. Woo! We have already sorted over 20,000 more back issues for inclusion in this year's booth (in addition to the 60,000+ we had as a base stock) with another 10,000 in some stage of processing.
