Free HARLEY QUINN Joker Variant

Howdy!

I am delighted to be able to report today that my beloved wife, Nanette, is finally starting to finally feel better after a scary 3-week battle with a potentially deadly intestinal bacteria known as C. diff. (clostridium-difficile-colitis). This is a bug that lives in your colon in small quantities, but can explode in population if you have an antibiotic treatment that kills off many of the beneficial bacteria that help you to digest your food.

Chuck and Nanette

This all began because Nanette had a minor jaw infection about five weeks ago, which they treated with a standard antibiotic. We had no idea at the time that such a commonplace treatment could also open the door for this deadly bacteria to attack her. Blessedly, after treatment with an entirely different antibiotic (which specifically targets C. diff...), she is recovering. According to the CDC C. diff kills over 20,000 people a year (mostly elderly patients in hospitals and nursing homes), so it is not to be taken lightly.

Aside from worrying over Nanette, I also had to help coordinate the shut-down of our Littleton, Colorado affiliate store last week. The Littleton store had been in existence for 22 years, with first 7 years as a company-owned location, and then about 15 years as a privately owned affiliate of our company. It had been functioning just fine until last week, when store owner Lynn Moulton discovered that our booming economy here in the Denver area had prompted his landlord to suddenly decide to double (!) his rent. Rather than pay this outrageous increase, Lynn called us last Monday, and asked us to help him to shut down his store on Friday.

Littleon Store

We all care very much for Lynn, so even though it was extremely short notice, we agreed to help him to close his store. We absorbed his remaining stock and fixtures into our Jason St. Mega-Store, and then gave Lynn immediate employment at our main warehouse. Closing his store turned out to be a Herculean task, however, as he had a 15-year accumulation of older comics, toys, statues, etc. stashed in his storage room. In the end, it took three jam-packed trips with a 26-foot rental truck to empty (most of...) his store. Whew!

What this development means for those of you who shop with us online is that we will soon be adding a wide spectrum of Lynn's Silver and Bronze Age comics into our website selections, as well as an amazingly broad selection of recent variants. We will also be integrating well over 1,000 trade paperbacks and hardbacks into our online stock. In addition, Lynn turned over to us more than 50,000 back issue comics dating from the very diverse period of 1980-2015, most of which will also end up being offered to you in our upcoming New-In-Stock and Premium New-In-Stock links. Closing someone's store is clearly not a good situation, but we are working to make this process as positive as possible for everyone involved.
