X-MEN, DEADPOOL, WOLVERINE Collection Arrives - STAR WARS Variants
Howdy!
Pam just received an amazing collection that includes just about every
X-MEN,
DEADPOOL,
and
WOLVERINE
issue, as well as a lot more other titles. Many of the rare issues will appear in tomorrow's
New-In-Stock
and
Premium New-In-Stock
links, with more following each day later in the week. All of these back issues are available
to you at 30% off when you utilize our new KITTYPRIDE! codeword. Only new issues a few variants,
and our professionally graded comics are excluded from this huge codeword sale.

In other news, during the tumult resulting from last week's freak hailstorm a very important announcement
was missed about our upcoming STAR WARS crossover event. As you are probably already aware, we
have created comics history by publishing our own exclusive
Mile High Comics variant cover editions
to all 31! of the
STAR WARS (2015) editions
released by Marvel Comics over the past three years. In addition, we published
Mile High Comics variant
editions to
STAR WARS: PRINCESS LEIA #1-#5,
and to each installment of the acclaimed
STAR WARS: VADER DOWN
crossover series.
STAR WARS: SCREAMING CITADEL #1 Mile High
So you know, this is the first time in comics history that any comic book retailing company has so
enthusiastically embraced creating variants focused specifically on one genre. My reason for investing
hundreds of thousands of dollars in our precious working capital in this
STAR WARS variants program
is that I truly believe that
STAR WARS
fandom is far larger than comics fandom, and that the
cool variants
that we are publishing today (in tiny
print runs of only 3,000 copies each) will be extremely desirable in the years to come. More than a few
readers of this newsletter must agree with me, as we have hundreds of savvy collectors who have been
buying every issue of our
STAR WARS variants
since
#1.
All of the above having been said, when we were offered the opportunity with the new SCREAMING CITADEL storyline
to publish the entire crossover series as a connecting cover array, we agreed immediately. Simply put, our
two previous STAR WARS connecting cover groupings were our very best sellers, and we think they are going
to be highly popular, too. Here are the scheduled issues for this new connecting cover series:
STAR WARS #31 Mile High
Part 1:
STAR WARS: SCREAMING CITADEL #1 (On sale now!)
Part 2:
STAR WARS #31 (Release Date 5/17/17)
Part 3:
DOCTOR APHRA #7 (Release Date 5/31/17)
Part 4:
STAR WARS #32 (Release Date 6/14/17)
Part 5:
DOCTOR APHRA #8 (Release Date 6/28/17)
DOCTOR APHRA #7 Mile High
STAR WARS: SCREAMING CITADEL #1 (Part 1)
released last week, and
STAR WARS #31 (Part 2)
is releasing this week. Because of the disruption caused by the hailstorm my assistant, Will Moulton, suggested
to me that we go ahead and leave these first two installments on sale for you at only $19.95 each until next Friday.
After that they will rise to $24.95, and may go higher. The remaining unpublished issues can be pre-ordered at
$19.95 each through Mario in our
subscription department.
Write to Mario at nice@milehighcomics.com if you would like to be signed up for each upcoming release. Please do
take advantage of this opportunity to purchase our rare
STAR WARS variants
at original release price. In a couple of years, I think that you will be very happy that you did!
SECRET WARS #2 Mile High
I am going to go now, as I am still documenting merchandise that was water damaged in last week's hailstorm. While
we lost many thousands of issues from our ten-pack racks (sadly, we lost mostly large quantities of expensive
limited edition variants
...) I am pleased to report that no single issues were damaged when our 70 skylights were shattered by the hail.
What that means is that there were zero disruptions to filling the orders that we received from
our website,
and no out-of-stocks occurred. We also were able to keep shipping orders like clockwork, so if you ordered
back issues
utilizing our current 30% off KITTYPRIDE! codeword, there should be no delays attributable to the storm.
Happy collecting!

Cambridge on top of one of the huge showcases
P.S. Our store kitty, Cambridge, is totally convinced that she owns the
Jason St. Mega-Store.
That being the case, when I stayed late last evening to reposition the 79 huge showcases in my future Pueblo
pottery gallery away from the shattered skylights in that hidden upstairs room, she decided (of course) that
she needed to be there to supervise. Surface it to say, it was a bit disconcerting to have her looming over me...
