Howdy!
The extremely generous comics price reductions that I put into effect last week on the vast majority of our back issues are continuing to attract worldwide attention. As a direct result, our order shipping backlog has not declined at all over the last couple of days, even though we now have staff members working overtime, and have hired yet another member for our fulfillment crew. It is currently taking approximately ten days for orders to ship. If you have already placed an order with us, please be patient.
Given what I just wrote, you would think that I would reconsider my decision of last week to drop most of our base prices in half, while also keeping in effect our 50% off SWEETHEART codeword. Actually, that is not at all the case. While painful, this sudden spurt in our cash flow will allow me to not only purchase far more comics collections during my upcoming buying trips, but also to fund some very important internal improvements, such as new servers for our website. While painful, I have to be pragmatic, and leave these price reductions in place for you.
That having been said, this is definitely a case where our loss is your gain. Never in our history have we offered such an incredibly wide diversity of great comics, for so very little. Take just a brief glance at our website, and then drop our listed back issue comics and magazine prices in half. All other considerations aside, our 50% off SWEETHEART codeword now discounts a ridiculously large number of our comics for you to under $1 each. Need I say more?
Pam - Back Issue Buyer
I will close today's newsletter by mentioning that our head back issue buyer, Pam Brandle, is actively seeking to buy collections of comics and books right now. You can call Pam weekdays 9-5 at 303-455-2659, or write to her 24/7 at
pamb@milehighcomics.com.
Pam is also setting up a limited number of private appointments for me for the period of March 17th - March 25th, when I will be buying comics in the regions around New York City and Allentown, PA. If you live near New York and would like me to consider purchasing your collection, please contact Pam today to see if we can set up a time for me to visit you in your home.
Happy Collecting!

P.S. If you are a STAR WARS fan, I thought that I would offer you a reason to visit our Jason St. Mega-Store on Easter Sunday, April 20th. We will be hosting that day what promises to be an exceptionally cool STAR WARS-themed wedding! The bride and groom are members of the Denver STAR WARS fan club, so they have decided to recite their vows in STAR WARS attire. In addition, since they want this to be a very memorable event, they have also invited the entire Denver fan group to attend in costume, which I am estimating to be about 500 people. A 23' replica of an X-Wing fighter is currently being built, and will soon be placed in the middle of the Jason St. Store as the centerpiece of this upcoming event.
What may be most important to you, however, is that this STAR WARS wedding is open to everyone! Below is the invitation that the bride asked me to publish for you in this newsletter. If you love STAR WARS, you might consider planning a trip to Colorado on April 20th. I really do think that this wedding is going to be a hoot!
