Special Deals on GI JOE, SECRET WARS, INFINITY GAUNTLET Howdy! I spent this weekend continuing to sort and clean odd corners in our 56th Ave. headquarters building in anticipation of our April 4th deadline for the contents of that huge facility to be merged into our Jason St. Mega-Store. During the course of my efforts I discovered even more "lost" treasures, several of which I am going to offer to you today. GI JOE HASBRO CATALOG I will begin today's offerings with a special item for collectors of GI JOE memorabilia. Way back in 1968, Hasbro created a beautiful full color salesman's catalog of all the GI JOE figures, vehicles, and equipment. These remarkably complete toy catalogs were never offered to the public, and only became available to us because an enterprising GI JOE fan created a very limited edition of full color second printings sometime around 1989. We had thought that we had sold our entire stock of these beautiful catalogs 25 years ago, so imagine my delight when found a tiny stack of VF/NM copies in a secret spot on a back shelf at 56th! If you would like to own a copy of this ultra rare GI JOE catalog, I am letting them go for only $49.95 each, with a limit of one per client, please. INFINITY GAUNTLET PIN Another hidden stash I located on Saturday was an unopened packet of INFINITY GAUNTLET promotional pins, featuring THANOS. These beautiful full color pins are now highly collectible, especially considering their direct tie-in to the next AVENGERS movie. Need I say more? Only $9.95 each. SECRET WARS SPECIAL The rarest items that I located on Saturday were three F/VF copies of the Marvel UK 1986 SECRET WARS SPECIAL, which features issues #1-#3. I actually have no idea of what these are going for in the UK right now, as I have not seen a copy offered for sale in a very long time. Given that Marvel UK typically only printed 5,000-10,000 copies each of their specials, however, I am presuming that these SECRET WARS editions are particularly rare, which is precisely why we're asking $199.95 each. Limit one per client, please. My last four specials for today are another small grouping of 1980's Marvel Graphic Novels. We only have about 20 copies of each of these available at $9.95 each, so do not be surprised if all of our allocation of discounted copies sell out in just a few hours. Not surprisingly, the first four Marvel Graphic Novels that we offered on Friday sold extremely well!
