X-MEN (1991) (#1-275) (MARVEL) #150 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: X-Men (1991) #150
"Planet X Conclusion" is written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Phil Jimenez, Andy Lanning and Simon Coleby. Magneto has, in the span of a few days, destroyed much of Professor Xavier and X-Men sought to build not the least of which is the begrudging trust of normal humans. By remaking Manhattan in his own image and overseeing the slaughter of dozens of non-mutants, Magneto has once again turned the world against mutantkind. He's also sent Jean Grey and Wolverine crashing into the Sun, blown up the Beast and Emma Frost and imprisoned Prof. X.

But from the ashes of defeat, Jean Grey rises like a Phoenix and uses her incredible power to heal Wolverine, rescue Beast and Emma Frost from being stranded at sea and lead an assault on Magneto and his new Brotherhood of Mutants. Cyclops and Fantomex also play their part as all of the players come to a new understanding of their own natures, their savagery and their nobility. So much happens this issue it's impossible to describe here. Rest assured: You'll learn the final fate of two mutants who have been with Marvel fans from the beginning. Don't miss this one!
