Plot Synopsis: Tomb of Dracula (1972) #59
Death of Dracula's son Janus. "The Last Traitor!" is written by Marv Wolfman and drawn by Gene Colan and Tom Palmer. Vampire hunters Quincy Harker, Frank Drake, Rachel Van Helsing and Harold H. Harold have teamed with Anton Lupeski, the Satanist leader who has served as host to Dracula, who now wants the Lord of Vampires dead. Their alliance is uneasy at best and the team suspect Lupeski is manipulating them. However, their agendas are the same and so a truce is called with the cultist and a trap is set.

Back at the desecrated church outside of Boston Dracula prepares to celebrate the birth of his son Janus with his wife Domini. The Satanists have gathered for the Feast of Satan, with Dracula the next-best thing they've got to the Prince of Darkness and Janus hailed as their new Messiah. But in the middle of their ceremony, Harker and his team burst in guns blazing with silver bullets. At the same time, Lupeski opens up with his own barrage. Caught in the crossfire, Dracula fights back with the fury of a demon but the violence claims a different victim, the infant Janus!
