Plot Synopsis: Thor (1962) #185
"In the Grip of Infinity!" is written by Stan Lee and drawn by John Buscema and Sam Grainger. Thor, ever the dutiful son, follows his father Odin to the farthest reaches of the universe to try to stop Infinity, an interstellar menace destroying whole galaxies. The danger is so great that the Odin-Sword is leaving its scabbard, a sure sign of the coming of Ragnarok. As Vizier and Sif look on in horror, events spiral out of control.

At the edge of space, the Thunder God faces one fantastical challenge after another but none as daunting as the four-armed Guardian who serves at Infinity's command. The Warriors Three (Fandral the Dashing, Hogun the Grim and Volstagg the Voluminous) are even pulled into as thralls to Infinity to battle their comrade. Thor uses Mjolnir, his Uru hammer, to send them back to Asgard. And as the cosmic destroyer moves closer to Earth, Thor reverts to Dr. Don Blake with the Guardian breathing down his neck.
