FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) (#1-416) (MARVEL) #107 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Fantastic Four (1961) #107
"And Now...the Thing!" is written by Stan Lee and drawn by John Buscema and Joe Sinnott. Ever since the fateful day when four adventurers dared the mysteries of space and were given wondrous powers by Cosmic Rays, Reed Richards has vowed to give his best friend Ben Grimm back his humanity. Transformed into a hulking pile of orange rocks the public dubbed the Thing, Grimm resented Richards, his wife Sue and her brother Johnny for being able to at least appear normal. Now, through extraordinary measures, Reed has seemingly succeeded and Ben Grimm can into the Thing and back at his whim!

Ben decides to celebrate by taking his girlfriend Alicia out for a day on the town. But Alicia realizes that Reed's experiment has done more than given Ben the ability to change his shape, it's also altered his personality, making him more callous, cruel and uncaring. A run-in with a group of hijackers that almost turns to homicide convinces the beautiful blind sculptress that something's not right with her true love. Meanwhile, Sue senses Agatha Harkness knows more about young Franklin Richards' powers than she's admitting. Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, moons over Crystal, his long-lost love. And Reed is unable to prevent the man called Janus from opening a doorway to the deadly Negative Zone!
