DAREDEVIL (1964) (#1-380) (MAN WITHOUT FEAR) (MARVEL) #48 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Daredevil #48
Farewell To Foggy!
Story by Stan Lee art by Gene Colan inks by George Klein.

Sometimes covers just say it best. Brawling with his old foe, the Stilt-Man, Daredevil ends up in a free-fall 20 stories over Broadway. Can even the Man Without Fear find a way to survive this predicament? And how did DD get in this spot in the first place? It starts with an overheard conversation between underworld thugs. If Foggy Nelson is elected District Attorney of New York City, the Big Apple's crooks know they're in trouble. And soon Daredevil finds out how they plan to solve their dilemma; they've hired Stilt-Man to rub out the would-be city prosecutor.

Painfully, DD must rush through a tearful reunion with Karen Page and throw his partner out of his own office to wait for the Stilt-Man's attack. And man, does he come on like gangbusters. The criminal, whose amazing exo-suit is equipped with extendable hydraulic legs, makes mincemeat out of concrete and steel and soon has our hero dangling over downtown Manhattan. Then comes the drop! Hang on to your hats, true believers. Is this the end of the Matt Murdock/Foggy Nelson law partnership and friendship forever? "Farewell to Foggy!" is written by Stan Lee with art by Gene Colan.
