CHAMBER OF CHILLS (1972) (#1-25) (MARVEL) #20 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Chamber of Chills #20
A trio of tales to terrify from Marvel's deepest tomes. Cover art by Ron Wilson. In our first story, "Killer at Large!" (originally presented in Mens Adventure #24), a hard-bitten police detective is called in to solve the murder of his best friend. After rounding up suspect after suspect, none looks as probable as his friend's grieving wife; the beautiful woman the detective wished he would've married. Passion is commonly the motive for murder but the twist ending on this little mystery will really surprise you.

Then, a lonely writer of suspense novels is shocked to get called on by "The Midnight Visitor!" (art by Mac Pakula, originally presented in Mystic #57). His work of fiction had described a man just like his late-hour intruder who had been found guilty of espionage. By incredible coincidence, the man he described from his imagination really existed and was none too pleased about being ratted on. He comes pistol in hand to end the writer's life. But the end of this story will be written with a pen, not a gun. Finally, Dick Ayers draws the story of a mob hitman who falls to "Madness in the Morgue!" (originally presented in Mens Adventure #24).
